Ahafo Commander of Invisible Forces backs reintroduction of NPP vigilante groups

The Ahafo Commander of the Invisible Forces, Anointing, has publicly declared his full support for the suggestion made by the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, regarding the reintroduction of the party’s vigilante groups.

Salam Mustapha, in a recent interview, disclosed that vigilante groups such as the Invisible Forces, Delta Force, and Bolga Bulldogs were crucial in helping the party win previous elections. He added that he will personally push for their reorganization and formalization as the security unit of the New Patriotic Party.

Reacting to Salam Mustapha’s statement, Anointing explained that reinstating the Invisible Forces and other similar groups is crucial for the party’s chances of reclaiming power in the 2028 elections.

“The results of the 2024 general elections did not go in our favor as members of the NPP, and we are all unhappy about it,” he stated. “Our commander, who is also our National Youth Organizer, made a statement that I fully agree with. He said it is time for the party to reintroduce the Invisible Forces. The truth is, without the Invisible Forces, it will be extremely difficult for the party to win any elections.”

Anointing accused the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of double standards, claiming that while they advocated for the disbandment of vigilante groups, they were secretly training and equipping their own forces to secure victory in 2024.

“The NDC proposed the disbandment of the Invisible Forces and other vigilante groups, but in reality, they were secretly training and equipping their own vigilante groups to help them win power in 2024,” he alleged.

He urged all NPP members to support the call for the reintroduction of the Invisible Forces, arguing that their presence would be instrumental in ensuring victory in the 2028 general elections.

“We, as members of the Invisible Forces, will stand behind whoever the party elects as our Flagbearer for the 2028 general elections. All we ask is for the party leadership to reassemble the Invisible Forces, and by doing so, I strongly believe we will win the 2028 elections,” he concluded.
