Ghanaian Hiplife artist, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has publicly refuted claims that the late Ghanaian hiplife recording artist and musician, Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro, Castro Under Fire is the father of her son Kwame Adepa, also known as Okomfo Black.
According to her, she gave birth to Adepa sex years after her friendship with Castro ended.
Controversial media personality Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, also known as Afia Schwarzenegger alleged that Castro was the father of Mzbel’s son but speaking in an interview monitored by Elvisanokyenews.net, Mzbel said “the last time I saw Castro was when his coach died and we went and do a tribute song, since then I had never seen him again. Castro and I friendship ended six years after I gave birth to my son so Castro was alive when I gave birth.”
When she was asked why people suggest that Castro is the father of her son despite a large number of musicians in Ghana, Mzbel responded “Maybe at a point in time we were very close and since I decided not to disclose the identity of my baby’s father, people will be linking him to that.”
She explained that many celebrities who have displayed their relationship on social media do not last longer, the reason she has decided not to disclose the identity of the father of Adepa.
“But I have given birth to someone and I have decided not to disclose his identity, why is it by force? Because the thing is all the people I know who have displayed their relationship on social media, it doesn’t end up well for them. If Adepa’s father and I decided to break up, it wouldn’t make any news because nobody knows.” Mzbel explained.
“The moment people see that this man is associated with Mzbel or is the father of my child, it becomes something else and his life will change and he doesn’t want that and I don’t even want that so nobody can say anything to hurt me.” She added.
