Ghanaians Media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso widely known as Delay has reacted to Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) decision to snub Ghanaian musician, Thomas Adjei Wireko, professionally known as King Paluta’s hit song ‘MAKOMA’ from 2025 TGMA nominations.
According to Delay, if you cease praying, what belongs to you will be snatched away.
In a post on X, the Broadcaster posted that under your very eyes you can lose what belongs to you if you cease praying, the reason Delay says she keeps on praying.
“How @KingPalutaMusic Makoma wasn’t nominated, is why I keep praying without ceasing. Under your very eyes, what belongs to you will be snatched away if you cease praying.” She posted.
Delay’s comment comes after King Paluta and his management have petitioned Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) board over his hit song “MAKOMA” snub.
King Paluta in his petition demanded that some explanations in connection with the snub of Makoma by King Paluta, a song we duly submitted for consideration, which we believe remains Ghana’s most popular song released within the year under review, generating the most excitement among music lovers to date.
According to the management, they filed makoma “Most Popular Song, Record of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year and Songwriter of the year – King Paluta” but the board snubbed them, a decision King Paluta described as unpopular.
“We believe in the competence of the TGMA board and trust that a convincing reason be issued to our team, music enthusiasts and general public on this unpopular decision of the board.” King Paluta stated.
Adding that “MAKOMA” breaches no moral or ethical requirement of the board and will be ready to engage for possible consideration of the song in the categories submitted for earlier.
