Managing editor at Ghana Vybes and Content Manager at Shatta wale (shatta movement), Flex K Germain has said Ghanaians don’t against passion-igniting campaign for the Black Stars’ “#BringBackTheLove” and the team in general but Ghanaians are against their inability to make a difference and win games.
According to him, Ghanaians have natural love for the Senior National Team but the #BringBackTheLove campaign is meaningless if the players can’t win matches and qualify for tournaments.
“I have said repeatedly that, the hash tag #BringBackTheLove is meaningless unless it’s link to winning matches, qualifying for tournaments and make a meaningful impact. Ghanaians don’t hate the Black Stars, Ghanaians just hate their inability to make a difference and win games.” He posted.
His post comes at the time the Black Stars is facing Chad and Madagascar for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Below is his post:
BLACK STARS DAY!!
I have said repeatedly that, the hash tag #BringBackTheLove is meaningless unless it’s link to winning matches, qualifying for tournaments and make a meaningful impact.
Ghanaians don’t hate the Black Stars, Ghanaians just hate their inability to make a difference and win games.
Let them win matches and qualify to tournaments and see if there will be any need for that hash tag. The thing is natural love. No sane person will ever want to pray for the downfall of his or her country if there is no point to do so.
If the management of the team and officials are misusing funds and not getting any proper results to show for, there will definitely be agitation against the team.
Do the right things and get everyone else support. Some of us shall always be behind the BS nevertheless!! however good results (Win) are very important to whip everyone on board.
Good luck, today at 7pm Accra sports stadium, Ghana vs Chad.
This shouldn’t be a big deal. We must win them.
