Ghanaian anglophone hip-hop and Afrobeat musician, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black has said the type of women she prefers is totally different from the perception people have about him.
He said people think the women around him at a club, party, and social media are the type of women he likes but otherwise.
Speaking to Nana Romeo, D-Black revealed that he prefers career women to female celebrities.
“If you look at me you may think I like flashy women, super stars in the public eye, no, I like the opposite. Women in professional work like nurses, doctors, Police……Very simply in the corner there not the public. That is the perception people have about me is not true.” D-Black said.
“If I want to respond to all the allegations about the women around me in a club, social media, a party. The type of woman I prefer is very different if you see the mother of my kids, she is a doctor. She has never done her nails before. I am very into the traditional woman.” He added.
Responding to allegations that he takes advantage of the female artists he is managing, D-Black said those allegations are baseless.
He said Sefa is his sister and he has never thought of anything like that about her.
“This is the third time I have heard this, I promise you, Sefa is my sister 100%. I have never had a fleeting thought that I will indulge in an affair with her. When I met her, the Sefa I met is not the Sefa you guys see today. I knew Sefa from seven, eight years ago when she was growing up. that is my sister, I don’t even know anybody who has dated Sefa before. Sefa is very private, I don’t know anybody who has dated Sefa till date.” D-Black clarified
