President John Dramani Mahama could not hide his excitement following Black Stars massive win over Chad.
Ghana secured 5-0 win against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, 21st March, 2025 in the 2026 World Cup qualifier.
According to the President, he had a good appetite for dinner after the Black Stars victory.
“I had a good appetite for dinner after the Black Stars’ 5-0 victory. Congrats guys!” Mr. Mahama said.
He said the 5-0 victory should be the beginning of bringing back the love slogan aimed to ally support for the Black Stars.
He also urged the players and Ghanaians as a whole to focus on the next match against Madagascar.
“Let this victory not make us complacent. This should be the beginning of bringing back the LOVE. Next focus: Madagascar. Go Black Stars!” Mahama wrote on X.
The spirit of Ghana was high after the big victory.
For some times now, the support for the National team was low as people fail to go to stadium but the Accra Sports Stadium was choked on Friday. The signs many believe the love for the Black Stars is coming back.
Meanwhile, some social media users have praised the president.
