Ghanaian artist King Jerry has expressed his displeasure in business mogul, Richard Nii Armah Quaye for failing to invite him to his birthday party.
The 40th birthday celebration of Bills Micro Credit Limited is one of the biggest birthday parties in Africa.
Businessmen, celebrities both local and abroad, traditional rulers, members of the East Legon fitting club and many others graced the birthday party that occurred at the Independence square, Accra.
In a video shared by the artist said he is also a big artist just that he doesn’t have money like others so the businessman was supposed to consider and invited him.
According to King Jerry, the 40th birthday celebration of Nii Armah Quaye meant a lot to him and was willing to grace the event.
“Eiii! Nii Armah, my God father, my chairman, eii, Daddy. You celebrate your birthday, you don’t even call me. The way I was eager to grace your birthday party, how I mean this birthday party, charlie, see the setup, you invited big artists, me too. I am also a big artist, just that I don’t have money I don’t have.” He said.
King Jerry added that because the birthday celebration was big and important to many people including himself, he did a lot of rehearsal in order to give his best performance but unfortunately he was snubbed.
“You called Diamond Platnumz, you called Davido, you called Sarkodie, you called Stonebwoy, you did not even call King Jerry. Nii Armah, God father, the way I did rehearsal for this birthday party” He added.
