Don’t give secular musicians chance in the church anymore, they are cheaters – Pastor Chris urges Pastors

The General Overseer of Christ Embassy, Pastor Christian Oyakhilome, known as Pastor Chris, has urged his fellow men of God not to give opportunities to secular musicians.

According to him, these musicians use the church to create opportunities to enrich themselves.

In a video shared on Instagram, the renowned Nigerian Pastor lamented that these secular musicians were once in the church’s choir and leading praises to gain popularity to enrich themselves.

Adding that after using the church to make money, they come back to deceive others to join them in the world to make money.

“I told you don’t give them a chance anymore. Otherwise, they will go to hell, T has tried to save them, many of them don’t go to church, they don’t know the message, they are exposed to poetic ability. Most of the things they write, sinners can write them, they just be nice. They go out there possessed by this evil spirit and come back here (church) to deceive others. They were not like that before until they went outside. So I used to tell Pastors not to give important aspects of the church to them anymore.” Pastor Chris stated.

“In probably the last maybe forty (40) or fifty (50) years, no one has cheated the church like from the music industry. What most of them have ever done is use the church. If you look at history long before the fifty I just mentioned you’ll see many worldly singers who started in the church. They were in the choir, leading praise, but ended up in the world.” He said.

“All they ever did was use the church to make themselves popular, whether they used the church to find opportunities or find a way to use that opportunity to to make money. Always, they use the church to get ideas, how to leverage the opportunity given to them in the house of God for financial reasons.” Pastor Chris lamented.
