Arsenal is silent on Thomas Partey’s performance because they are not happy he is committed to Black Stars – Saani Daara alleges

Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saani Daara has lamented Arsenal’s  refusal to acknowledge the efforts of their midfielder Thomas Partey in Ghana’s game against Madagascar in the World Cup qualifiers.

Thomas Partey put up an energetic performance and scored a brace and Mohammed Kudus added one goal which helped the Black Stars to secure 3-0  win against Madagascar.

Thomas Partey who marked his 50th Ghana appearance in the Black Stars displayed his impressive performance for the black stars to win 5-0 against Chad. He created most chances in the second half.

According to Saani Daara, the massive performances of the Arsenal Star in the Black Stars should be acknowledged and commended by the gunners.

He said it is pathetic for Arsenal to refuse to celebrate Partey but other players were celebrated.

“Arsenal’s silence on Thomas Partey’s national duty heroics is deafening. While Partey was masterful for Ghana this week, @Arsenal refused to acknowledge his efforts—no post, no support, nothing. Yet, they celebrate others on international duty.” Saani Daara wrote on his X.

He believes Arsenal is not happy that Thomas Partey is committed to his national team.

“Other Ghanaian players like Jordan Ayew, Kudus and Semenyo were all celebrated by their EPL clubs but the Gunners remained silent. Perhaps they are unhappy he is committed to Ghana. And his contract runs out in June.”

According to him, Partey deserves respect from Arsenal and Ghana.

Ghanaians have on several occasion, creticised Thomas Part for not showing commitment to the National team.

“Combine this with the fact that some Ghanaians label him uncommitted—forgetting he’s also victimized by Arsenal for wearing the Black Stars shirt. Yet his performances, sacrifices and commitment for both club and country is unmatched. Enough is enough. Partey deserves respect—from Arsenal and from us.” Part of the post read.
