Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu-Bempah has sent a stern warning to potential Presidential Candidates who want to lead the NPP.
According to him, no person in the party who wants to lead them can not succeed in winning the elections to become president in the country without him.
Adding that he is the only youth in the NPP who can face the National Democratic Congress (NPP).
“I am the only youth at the moment who can face the NDC squarely. Nobody in the NPP at the moment can face the NDC squarely than me. You know it, and no Presidential Candidate, I am saying this on your platform that any Presidential Candidate who wants to lead the NPP without me should forget it. I am saying it, it is not arrogance I am just saying it.” Owusu Bempah said this in an interview on Asaasepa Radio, monitored by Elvisanokyenews.net.
Owusu Bempah claimed that he knows secrets in the country and the NDC so anybody who bypasses him will fail.
He said anybody who is going to a war should know and understand the strength and weakness of his opponent.
“I know secrets in this country, I have been around former President Rawlings, who governed the country for 19 years. I have been around Akufo-Addo, I have been around J.A. Kufuor. I know what I am talking about, I know secrets in this country, I know the NDC’s secrets, how can you fight your enemy without his secrets. When David was going to fight Goliath, he knew his secrets. You are fighting your enemy without knowing his strength and weakness, how can you fight him? He claimed.
Adding that “Owusu-Bempah I woke up to present a petition to President Mahama at his residence and the whole NDC rank and file got up in the morning. Why is it that if it was any other youth in the NPP, it would not be gravitas? This is a lesson to you to understand that I know where to hit the NDC hard.”
