Private Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has alleged that renowned Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has recorded another scandal about the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
He claimed that the Tiger Eye PI is set to release the second exposé of Kennedy Agyapong after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) elect him as their presidential candidate for the 2028 elections.
“Even Anas is waiting for the NPP to choose Kennedy Agyapong as their candidate to release his second exposé. Anas has another expose about Kennedy Agyapong, I am telling you because I know what I am talking about.” Maurice Ampaw made this allegation on Wontumi TV.
The outspoken Lawyer also claimed that because the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) knows that there are some scandals that can be used against the former NPP MP, they are also pushing hard for the NPP to give him the mandate to lead them.
Maurice Ampaw said it is the wish of the NDC that Kennedy Agyapong become the flagbearer of the NPP for the 2028 election.
“The NDC is praying that Kennedy Agyapong leads the NPP for the 2028 election. So what they will do is that they will give money to the NPP grassroots who are supporters of Kennedy Agyapong to go and campaign for him and he is the only person who can defeat the NDC. They will do everything to convince the grassroot just to get the candidate that they want.” He claimed.
“No football team will choose Brazil over Heart of Oak as his opponent in a match, so the NDC wants Kennedy Agyapong so that they can hit hard at him.” He added.
His allegation comes after the US court awarded Anas $18 million in damages against Kennedy Agyapong.
