“Our mother is doing well” Okudzeto Ablakwa debunks rumors on Veep health

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has debunked rumors concerning the health of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

According to him, the Vice President is in good health and recovering well, attributing her recovery to the prayers and support of Ghanaians across the world.

Hon. Ablakwa made this assertion while addressing a gathering of Ghanaians in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Some have expressed fear about the state of our mother, the first female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Prof.Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, I also want to assure you that she’s doing very, well. Your prayers have worked. The prayers from all Ghanaians at home and abroad have really worked.

He further disclosed that,  that he has personally been in contact with the Vice President and can confirm that she is doing well.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration also condemned what he described as “vicious and unGhanaian evil propaganda” being spread by some individuals about the Vice President’s health. He urged the public to disregard such misinformation and instead focus on the positive impact the Vice President continues to make.

“I have heard from her, so I know what I’m talking about a nd she’s doing well. “Please ignore all of that very vicious and unGhanaian evil propaganda that some people are circulating. Our mother is doing very, well. and very soon, she’s going to return to her duties serving God, making all of you proud, and particularly inspiring our young girls, our daughters, to know that there is nothing that women cannot achieve. Women are as good as men, and what men can do, women can also do.” He stated
