Sarah Adwoa Safo to appear before NPP’s Disciplinary Committee tomorrow

 

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo is expected to appear before the party’s Disciplinary Committee on Monday, April 7, 2025.

The hearing which will take place at the Conference Room, NPP Headquarters, Asylum Down, Accra is to allow the former MP to provide assistance in an inquiry into a matter currently under its consideration.

Hon. Adwoa Safor has recently voiced out her displeasure about some within the party which she believes contributed to the massive defeat in the 2024 elections.

In a notice issued by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, Hon. Patrick Boamah and addressed to Adwoa Safo said she should present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation.

“You are advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation. Furthermore, you are entitled to legal representation during the proceedings should you so require. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this correspondence and confirm your attendance.” Part of the statement read.

“I extend to you the warm regards, Pursuant to the directive of the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, you are hereby invited to appear before the Committee to provide assistance in an inquiry into a matter currently under its consideration.”

Date: Monday, April 7, 2025

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Venue: Conference Room, NPP Headquarters, Asylum Down, Accra.

“Enclosed herewith is a copy of the referral letter from the General Secretary for your reference.”

“You are advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation Furthermore, you are entitled to legal representation during the proceedings should you so require. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this correspondence and confirm your attendance.”
