Eric Edem Agbana marks 2 years in Parliament

Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Eric Edem Agbana has celebrated his two years since he represented the people of Ketu North.

Recounting how they managed to secure victory for the NDC and their achievement so far, the lawmaker said  “Today marks exactly two years since I was elected in a keenly contested parliamentary primary to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the Parliamentary Candidate for our beloved Ketu North constituency.”

According to him, “That moment marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey—one of purpose, resilience, and unwavering dedication to service. Two years on, I stand before you not just as a candidate, but as your elected Member of Parliament, deeply honored by the trust you have reposed in me.”

“Reflecting on our collective journey, I am reminded of the many challenges we faced and the triumphs we achieved together. From the intense post-election period to the healing and rebuilding of unity within our party, each moment has reaffirmed my belief in the power of solidarity and purpose-driven leadership.” Edem added.

According to him, some people opposed their success but they managed to achieve their aim and emerged victorious through unity.

“Many doubted our ability to emerge stronger. Some predicted division and defeat. But together, we have proven them wrong. Through determination and a shared vision, we secured a historic victory for the NDC and for Ketu North. This victory is not mine alone—it belongs to all of us who dared to believe and work for change.”

“The prayers, support, and goodwill I continue to receive from every corner of the constituency have been humbling and inspiring. It is a privilege I hold dearly, and I am committed to justifying the confidence you have placed in me. As we mark this milestone, let us celebrate how far we have come—but even more importantly, let us recommit ourselves to the journey ahead. We must work even harder to build the Ketu North we all envision: a constituency of opportunity, dignity, and prosperity.” The MP wrote.

“Ghana continues to yearn for bold, visionary leadership—leadership that John Dramani Mahama personifies. His victory in the 2024 general elections gives us renewed hope, and I am proud to be part of the movement that restored that hope to our people. To the leadership of our party—at the branch, ward, constituency, regional, and national levels—thank you for standing firm and united. Your support was and remains the backbone of our success.” He continued.

Edem further called for more unity and commitment to secure a better future for everyone in the Constituency.

“Let us remain united in purpose, steadfast in our commitment, and relentless in our pursuit of a better future for all.”
