‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, has bragged on social media that he is currently better than Kendrick Lamar.
Kendrick Lamar is now considered one of the best rappers in the world.
He shook the world with an energetic performance at the 2025 Super Bowl LIX, which took place in February.
Kendrick made more headlines after performing a diss song directed at his rival, Drake, who has sued his record label, UMG, for promoting and distributing the track Not Like Us. Drake believes the lyrics are defamatory.
Before his performance, Kendrick made a statement that is now living rent-free in Drake’s head and has also been embraced by music lovers. He said, “I want to perform their favorite song, but you know they love to sue.”
Kendrick is now being compared to the late Michael Jackson after his Super Bowl performance.
In a social media post, Very Soon hitmaker Fameye reminisced about his senior high school days, recalling how he used to compare Kendrick Lamar to Ghanaian rapper Medikal. He added that he has no regrets because Medikal has truly proven himself.

In response to Fameye’s post, Medikal boldly stated that he should not be compared to Kendrick Lamar because he is currently better than him.
