FBI Has Gone Through My Things and I Am Clean – Shatta Wale Reveals

The ‘On God’ crooner, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., known in the showbiz space as Shatta Wale, has posted a video clarifying that he is not a fraud boy, as some claim, following the arrest of his godfather by the FBI.

In a recent top story in Ghana that has taken the internet by storm, a letter signed by the Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, indicates that four Ghanaians ,Isaac Oduro Boateng, Inusah Ahmed, Derrick Van Yeboah, and Patrick Kwame Asare are to be extradited to the United States of America for trial over an alleged $100 million cyber fraud.

Isaac Oduro Boateng, popularly known in Ghana as Kofi Boateng, who was identified as the kingpin, is the one Shatta Wale refers to as his godfather.

In a recent video posted by the Killa Ji Mi hitmaker, he explained that he makes clean and legitimate money from his music and urged people to stop tagging him as a scammer.

There are several posts and videos on social media where Shatta Wale appears to encourage young men to venture into cybercrime, claiming it brings wealth.

“I make clean and legit money. Because your favorite musician is poor, you think all musicians are poor.

No! I didn’t come to play , my music career has really made me rich, so stop calling me a fraud boy. People are tagging me here and there because my godfather has an issue with the FBI. Herh! Let me tell you, do you think the FBI hasn’t checked my things? Do you think they haven’t checked my cars, including the Rolls Royce? They have checked and I’m clean,” Shatta Wale furiously stated.

He added that the reason people assume musicians are not making money is that the only expensive cars they typically buy are either Benz or Range Rovers but for him, it’s different. Shatta Wale made it clear that although he dresses like a fraud boy, that doesn’t mean he is one , he just likes wearing expensive chains and clothes.

“For the ice, I will wear them because I have suffered and it’s my own money. Be there fooling yourself that Shatta Wale doesn’t make legit money — that’s your own cup of tea. You can even call the FBI to come and investigate me,” he emphasized.
