Efia Odo Blasts Keche Joshua Over Yaa Jackson and Gyakie Comparison

Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has taken to social media to publicly condemn Keche Joshua for sparking controversy by comparing the vocal prowess of Yaa Jackson to that of Gyakie.

Elvisanokyenews earlier reported that Keche Joshua, in a video, commended Yaa Jackson for being a good musician and expressed excitement after listening to her latest banger, Moses.

Following the praise, Keche added that Yaa Jackson sings better than Gyakie.

““I really love your songs, Yaa. You are too good, and it’s something serious I’m saying. Your new song is really nice. I really love it. But Yaa Jackson dey sing better pass Gyakie. I have said it and that’s final. If you don’t understand, you can do whatever you want,” Keche stated.

This comment stirred controversy online and caught the attention of Efia Odo.

In a post, Efia Odo emphasized that there is enough space in the industry for every talent to grow, and therefore, there is no need to bring one artist down to uplift another.

She wrote,

“There’s enough room on the table for everyone to enjoy. No need to bring someone down to uplift another.”

She didn’t end there. She further stated that these kinds of attitudes are some of the reasons the Ghanaian entertainment industry appears stagnant and lacks the progress it deserves—because many want to remain on top alone, forgetting that the industry has space for everyone willing to thrive.

“This is our main problem in the industry!

Everyone wants to be the only one on top when the sky is big enough for all of us.”
