15 years imprisonment for Agradaa is not news – Agradaa’s husband Pastor Asiamah

Angel Asiamah, husband of embattled Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa has said sentencing the Founder and Leader of Heaven Way Church to 15 years imprisonment is not news.

According to him, Agradaa is not the only God’s servant who has been punished for doing the work of God.

He said it is difficult in the physical life but spiritually it is easy.

“This is not news. The case was three years ago when some people who came to church at Heaven Way leveled allegations against Mama Pat that she was taking their money which I think is baseless. All of you here when you go to church you give offerings like that. This is part of Christianity, physically it is difficult but spiritually it is not difficult so we are praying to the Almighty God to make everything go well.” Angel Asiamah said.

Angel Asiamah compared Agradaa’s 15 years jail term to Apostle Paul in the Bible as well as Jesus Christ.

He said they all suffered similar incidents because of their dedication to God’s work.

“I am not worried, physically it is a problem but spiritually in the work of God, it is normal. Paul and Silas were arrested and put into prison because of the work of God. Jesus Christ was crucified because of God’s work. Many prophets have been punished because of the evangelism so maybe there is a shadow of a blessing coming to Mama Pat.” He stated.

He indicated that the church activities have not changed despite the bad news that has occurred.

“The church is still going to operate, we are not giving up, this can not change anything, I am still a Pastor and she (Agradaa) is still a Founder so the 15 years imprisonment is not a news.” He indicated.

Nana Agradaa was convicted for charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretenses by a Circuit Court in Accra.
