Anything publish by Ghana Today is fake – Oliver Barker-Vormawor

Legal practitioner and activist, Osagyefo Mawuse Oliver Barker-Vormawor has refuted media reports that suggest that he has blamed the Ghana Police Service for the illegal mining activities (Galamsey) in Ghana.

It was reported by Ghana Today that the activist who blamed former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government for the galamsey activities now claiming that “Galamsey is not a President’s problem. It is a problem caused by the Police.”

Reacting to this, Oliver Barker-Vormawor stated that anything published by Ghana Today is fake because they are affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Rule of thumb: Anything you see from the opposition affiliated bot farm called Ghana Today, Just know it’s fake.” He wrote.

Adding that the NPP is still suffering from their abysmal defeat during the 2024 elections.

“Yes you have suffered a huge defeat. Deserved of course. But Therapy will tell you that even though you are still in pain, the way forward is building allyship and community with those whose voices you failed to listen to in the past. Hell even tormented. I do not care about anyone’s party colours as long as they stay committed to a new Ghana.”

Rule of thumb: Anything you see from the opposition affiliated bot farm called Ghana Today, Just know it’s fake.

I honestly do not understand the strategy of some elements within the minority opposition who believe that the way to survive opposition is to turn their sights on voices of reason and just keep attacking them.

I honestly do not understand the strategy.

Yes you have suffered a huge defeat. Deserved of course. But Therapy will tell you that even though you are still in pain, the way forward is building allyship and community with those whose voices you failed to listen to in the past. Hell even tormented. I do not care about anyone’s party colours as long as they stay committed to a new Ghana.

Where we stand now after 8 years; the NPP has a credibility problem. You won’t solve that through attacks and misinformation.

A word to the wise

Shalom!
