Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex, Manager of Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has clarified rumours that president of Shatta Movement was not invited to the birthday party of business mogul, Richard Nii Armah Quaye.
According to him, Shatta Wale was invited but the artist decided not to attend the party because of his personal values contrary to what people are claiming.
“But every artist and what they want, every artist has what they stand for, every artist and their values, maybe to Shatta Movement, our values was not just to go to any party, every person has their values, that was not the values of Shatta Wale, therefore, because maybe that was not it, reason, we did not show any interest.” Sammly flex stated in a video.
He explained that when they were called to honor the invitation he was not in Ghana but directed the organizers to their team member.
“There are people who even thought that Shatta Wale was not even called at all. After all, many top musicians were not there and not every musician that was there performed, so why is that the name Shatta Wale alone? Now, these are the facts you must get them well, and know what to say. I was in London and I got a call from one lady who told me that she had Shatta’s invitation in connection with Richard Nii Armah Quaye’s birthday celebration.” He said.
“So I directed her to one of the team members in Ghana and later the team member confirmed to me that yes, the lady called. That should be established, so on record, Shatta’s invitation was clean so all team members if we wanted to be part of the party we could have gone there.” The artist manager clarified.
Sammy Flex also refuted claims that Shatta Waleand Stonebwoy can not meet at the same place.
“You go online after the party and you see many people spreading lies and untrue…..I see a headline that is saying because Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were not supposed to be at the same place so he picked the Stonebwoy who is big. First of all I have said it countless times that there is no story that says that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale can not be at the same place. It is a liar.” He said.
