The Bono East Regional Public Relations Officer for the Centre for National Culture and Municipal Cultural Officer for Techiman, Mr. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has been unanimously endorsed by Assembly Members of the Techiman North District Assembly as the new District Chief Executive (DCE).
All the 35 assembly members unanimously approved Mr. Johnson appointment to give him 100 per cent endorsement.
A development-oriented professional, Mr. Johnson brings to his new role over a decade of progressive experience in public administration and cultural management. Born on January 5, 1988, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in both administrative and communication roles across the Bono East Region.
Mr. Johnson holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies (UDS), with a specialization in Social and Development Administration. He is currently pursuing another Master’s degree in Development Studies at the University of Ghana’s Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER).
In addition to his academic qualifications, Mr. Johnson holds professional credentials as a Chartered Professional Administrator (ChPA), and a certification in Corporate Governance. He is also pursuing certification as a Chartered Management Consultant, further reflecting his dedication to professional growth and service excellence.
In his current role as Municipal Cultural Officer at the Techiman Municipal office of the Centre for National Culture, he has led strategic initiatives to promote and integrate cultural heritage within community development.
Mr. Johnson is an active member of key professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants – Ghana, and the Institute of Directors – Ghana. Politically, he has played instrumental roles in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), especially in political communication and strategy within the Bono East enclave.
Well-regarded for his teamwork, leadership, and visionary thinking, Mr. Johnson has expressed his commitment to bringing innovative solutions to local governance and development. His vision is centered on enhancing public service delivery, fostering inclusive development, and promoting cultural advancement in the Techiman North District.
