Ghana@68: We are not happy so let’s stop promising what cannot be accomplished and create jobs – Kofi Amoah

Dr. Kofi Amoah, Ghanaian Businessman and Entrepreneur has lamented the state of Ghana’s economy and the struggling of the Ghanaian citizens as the country celebrates 68th Independence Day Anniversary.

According to him, many Ghanaians including himself are not happy so the leaders should stop pretending and deliver to the expectations of the citizens.

“The 68th… Dearest Ghanaians How I wish I could join in with expressions of happiness on Ghana’s day of so-called INDEPENDENCE. I’m NOT happy and neither is Ghana and the majority of Ghanaians So let’s stop pretending and start performing.” Dr. Kofi Amoah wrote on X.

He added that it is hard time the political leaders in the country stop making promises that they can not fulfill and put in place measures that can create jobs to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

“Let’s stop promising what cannot be accomplished and start sewing seeds of real hopes of good paying JOBS for everybody able to work, educated or uneducated, boys and girls in the cities, towns and villages, Kofi ne Ama… any ‘good-paying’ job that pays living wages, not wages to enslave but to lift up body and soul… CAN WE ALL FOCUS ON THIS ONE THING AND GET IT DONE, AND WITNESS THE EXPLOSION OF HEART-FELT JOY AND SUSTAINABLE PROGRESS FULL EMPLOYMENT WILL GET US TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP, NOT GRANDIOSE PROMISES OF DREAMS.” Part of the post read.

Kofi Amoah further called on the government to be focused and initiate policies that can bring real happiness for the country and its citizens.

“So on this day, let’s resolve to do and to build that which can bring real happiness for Ghana and ourselves… JOBS FOR ALL, MONIES IN OUR POCKETS, HAPPINESS APLENTY. Omanyi Yɛsiimu Akye… Moma yɛ nyan kasa bebree, wai menyuanom ADWUMA akatua pa! JOBS… good-paying!! THAT’S THE REAL INDEPENDENCE GHANA NEEDS AND DESERVES” He added.
