Bono East: Jesus Mission Church Ghana organize Stir Up Ministers Conference 2025

The Jesus Mission Church Ghana has successfully organized a national programme dubbed the 2025 Stir Up Ministers Conference at Tuobodom in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region.

The five-day spiritual gathering brought together pastors, church leaders, and believers from across the country. It was held under the theme, “Till we all come into the unity of the faith” (Ephesians 4:11–13).

The conference focused on equipping ministers for sound doctrine, strengthening unity among churches, and addressing pressing moral and social issues facing the nation.

The National Programs Director of the conference, Rev. Thomas Larbi, in his speech, addressed the rising levels of bribery and corruption in the country. He expressed disappointment that, despite the presence of Members of Parliament (MPs) and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in many churches today, unethical practices continue to persist.

He urged Christian leaders to be bold in confronting moral failures both within and outside the church.

“It is disheartening that in a nation where MPs and MMDCEs regularly sit in our churches, bribery and corruption still thrive. As Christian leaders, we must rise with boldness to confront these moral failures not just in society, but within the church itself.” He stated

Rev. Daniel Owusu, the Regional Minister for Region C (Bono East Region), took time to explain the theme of the conference. He emphasized the need for unity among churches in these divisive times, noting that the fragmentation of the Christian body weakens its witness and impact on the nation.

He also expressed his unwavering support for the 1st July National Prayer Day declared by the President, stating that the initiative will help promote national repentance, unity, and spiritual direction for Ghana.

“In these divisive times, the unity of the church is not optional, it is essential. A fragmented Christian body loses its strength and its voice in shaping the nation. I fully support the President’s call for a National Prayer Day on July 1st; it is a timely step toward repentance, unity, and spiritual renewal for Ghana.” He disclosed

The Media and Publicity Officer for Techiman Central, Pastor Albert Agyei, addressed the growing global pressure on moral values, particularly with regard to the LGBTQ+ agenda. He urged ministers and believers to speak out boldly against it on every available platform.

Pastor Agyei also shared his personal reflections on the event, stating that he had learned many valuable lessons throughout the five-day programme and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to grow in both faith and leadership.

:The global pressure to compromise our moral values, especially through the LGBTQ+ agenda, is real and rising. As ministers and believers, we must not remain silent.

“we must boldly speak the truth of God’s word on every platform available to us. This conference has also been a deeply enriching experience for me, sharpening my faith and leadership in ways I didn’t anticipate.” He said.
