Don’t Stop Doing Music, I Pray You Break Through – Efia Odo Encourages Showboy

Ghanaian social media sensation Andrea Owusu, also known as Efia Odo, has taken to social media to commend the musical prowess of Ghanaian socialite and musician Sam Sarfo, popularly known as Showboy.

Showboy, after serving a prison sentence in the United States of America, ventured into music full-time in Ghana and has since released a couple of street bangers.

This caught the attention of Ghanaian social media star Efia Odo, and she couldn’t hold back her words as she took to Twitter to commend the 2Hype Gang boss.

In a post on social media, Efia Odo made it clear that this was her first time listening to a song by Showboy, but she must confess she is truly in love with his music.

She added that the songs are very relatable to what she has gone through in life and that the verses hit hard.

Efia Odo then encouraged Showboy to continue following his passion — music — and expressed her heartfelt wish to see him succeed.

She posted:

“Showboy, this is my first time listening to a song that you’ve done, and I can say this is hard. The message in your song is relatable. Don’t stop this hustle. It’s my prayer that you break through.”

For his part, Showboy expressed his appreciation to Efia Odo’s comment saying seeing her post means a lot to him.

“Thank you so much Sis .. this means a lot to me …. u made my day seeing you post me . U my super star for real, EFIA. ” Showboy replied.

Showboy was sentenced to six years in prison in the U.S. in 2019 for stabbing a fellow Ghanaian artist known as Junior US during a fight.

He is known for bangers such as Bombo Yiee, Sankofa, Kafui, Nyame Dada, Loyalty, and more.
