The Eastern Regional Communication Directorate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has honoured the New Juaben North Constituency Youth Organizer, Mr. Samuel Osei Sarkodie, for his exceptional dedication and financial support to the party.
In a brief but significant ceremony held at his residence, the regional team, led by Deputy Communication Director Mr. El Sahmed, presented a citation of honour to Mr. Sarkodie, popularly known as SOS, in recognition of his unwavering contribution toward strengthening the party’s communication and grassroots structures.
The citation, presented on behalf of the Regional Communication Director, Mr. Evans Osei Yeboah, and the entire Directorate, acknowledged Mr. Sarkodie’s consistent financial support, particularly his contribution to the recent workshop organized for party communicators in the Eastern Region.
Mr. Sarkodie, known for his dynamic leadership and commitment to youth mobilization, has been instrumental in sustaining the party’s ideology and presence across the region. He has become one of the key financiers of the NPP in the Eastern Region, supporting both grassroots initiatives and regional-level programmes.
In his remarks, Mr. Sarkodie expressed deep appreciation to the Directorate for the recognition, describing it as both an honour and a renewed call to service.
“I pledge continued monthly support to the Directorate, which is not driven by personal ambition but by the recognition of its critical role in our journey to reclaim power in 2028.”
He commended the Directorate for its efforts in shaping public discourse and driving effective communication strategies for the party.
Mr. Sarkodie further urged party members to remain united and focused as the party heads into its internal primaries, stressing that unity remains the surest path to electoral victory.
He also encouraged NPP members to invest their time, resources, and energy into building the party’s structures rather than waiting for handouts, adding that political commitment and financial contribution are vital to sustaining the party’s growth.
“Let us rise together as members of the elephant family, united in purpose to restore the pride of our nation’.
“As a proud and devoted member of the New Patriotic Party, it is our solemn duty to strengthen the party’s machineries and ensure its continued relevance in Ghana’s political landscape.”
