Ghanaian social media personality Archipalago has denied claims that he reached out to Kuami Eugene for a music collaboration.
According to Archipalago, in an interview, he said he called Kuami Eugene on the phone for a possible collaboration, but Kuami’s attitude was disrespectful.
Kuami Eugene, responding to the allegation, said he was on the phone with his mother when Archipalago tried to speak with him, and he couldn’t hang up on his mom at that moment.
In a recent response to statements made by the singer, Archipalago insisted that he has never contacted Kuami Eugene about working on a song, and even questioned the singer’s relevance in that context.
“Kuami Eugene cannot have a beef with me; he is not in my league. What he said on the radio station is a lie. I never asked him for a false collaboration,” Archipalago said.
He also refuted claims that he reached out to someone close to the singer to propose a potential collaboration.
Archipalago emphasized that he hasn’t even considered working with A-list artists such as Sarkodie, Samini, or Shatta Wale, so there would be no reason to approach Kuami Eugene or others he referred to as “smaller artistes” like KiDi.
“I haven’t even thought of reaching out to legends like Samini, Sarkodie, and Shatta Wale for collaborations how much more smaller artistes like Kuami Eugene and KiDi?” he said.
He concluded by stating that he has a personal strategy to rise to fame in the music industry and intends to execute it without relying on anyone.
“I have a plan to become one of the biggest musicians, and I intend to do it on my own,” he said.
