Kojo Bonsu assures President Mahama to attract more foreign investments from China

 

Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of China nominee, Kojo Bonsu has assured President John Dramani Mahama to win more foreign investments for the government’s “RESET AGENDA.”

The former Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) said he will do everything within his powers to ensure that the purpose of which he has been nominated to represent Ghana in China comes to pass.

According to him, he will collaborate with the necessary stakeholders to enhance our diplomatic ties, cultural & educational exchanges & attracting foreign investments.

“I look forward to working collaboratively to enhance our diplomatic ties, cultural & educational exchanges & attracting foreign investments for the RESET AGENDA.” He posted.

He expressed his appreciation to the President for the trust placed in him to serve in his government.

“Thank you, Mr. President. @JDMahama for the trust placed in me to serve in your government.” Kojo Bonsu stated.

Kojo Bonsu was nominated including 14 other individuals to represent Ghana in their various countries.

“I write to inform you that the President of the Republic, following the consultation with the Council of State has nominated the following individuals as Ambassadors/High Commissioners and Consul-General designates” A statement from the Presidency read.

The new Ambassadors/High Commissioners and Consul-General designates are: Benjamin A. Quashie who is represent Ghana in Republic of South Africa, Kojo Bonsu to People’s Republic of China, Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe has been nominated to the Kingdom of Spain, Hammed Rashid Tunde Ali to United Arab Emirates and Hon. Captain George Kofi Nfojoh will serve the country in the Togolese Republic.

Others include Grace El Mahmoud Marabe who is heading to United Arab Emirates – Dubai, Prof. Ohene Adjei took Federal Republic of Germany, Abdul Nasiru-Deen heading to Republic of Turkey, Theresah Adjei-Mensah will represent Ghana in Czech Republic, Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso to India, Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh, Ph.D. went to Canada, Dr. Margaret Miewien Chebere to Denmark and Labik Joseph Yaani is also heading to Equatorial Guinea.

President Mahama also nominated Nii Amasah Namoale to the Federative Republic of Brazil and Dr. Felix Kumah Godwin Anebo will serve the nation in the Republic of Senegal.
