My Daughter Is Free to Wear Whatever She Wants – Jackson K. Bentum

Popular movie director Jackson K. Bentum has finally responded to critics over his daughter Yaa Jackson’s way of dressing.

Netizens slammed the actress, who also doubles as a musician, for dressing in a manner they deemed inappropriate and called on her father to advise her.

In an earlier report, Yaa Jackson responded, stating that she is an adult and can decide what to wear or do, and therefore critics should leave her father out of the matter since she alone should be held responsible.

Jackson K. Bentum has now addressed the issue, openly supporting his daughter.

The ace movie director explained that his daughter is an adult, so her choice of clothing should not be anyone’s concern.

He added that her style of dressing aligns with her profession in acting and music, and he is proud of the path she has chosen.

“Her style of dressing matches what she does. She is not a gospel artiste to wear kaba to shoot a music video. What you are complaining about is what she needs to wear to build her music career,” he said.

Jackson K. Bentum emphasized that his daughter is naturally shy, so he was surprised when she decided to pursue music.

“I was really surprised to see her pursue music as a career because she’s a very shy person. You know, with music you have to face the crowd physically, unlike movies. So I am proud of her. She can wear anything she wants as far as her career is concerned,” he added.

Bentum concluded that he would only be concerned if she wore such outfits on a regular day.

“If you see her in town wearing such dresses, then you can call me. But in a music video or anything concerning her profession, she is free to wear them,” he said.
