Ghana’s Guinness World Record-holding painting prodigy, Ace Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, has once again put Ghana on the map after winning a global award.
In a ceremony held at the iconic UK Parliament inside the historic Members’ Dining Room at the House of Commons, Ghana’s one-year-old Guinness World Record holder was honoured as a 2025 Global Child Prodigy in Art.
Ace Liam made headlines and went global at just one year old in December 2023 after being officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the youngest artist (male).
Many Ghanaians have been disqualified after attempting to be recognized by Guinness World Records as record holders, including popular names like Afua Asantewaa, who attempted a Singathon record but failed twice, and Chef Smith, who attempted a cookathon.
Born on July 16, 2022, his record-breaking accomplishment was verified in Accra, Ghana, raising the flag of Ghana high.
The family, in a statement following the ceremony, thanked GCPA for recognizing Ace Liam’s exceptional talent.
