Self-styled Igbo King of Ghana denies his kingship, complains about BP after NIB invitation

Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr . Hassan Ayariga has revealed that self-styled Igbo King of Ghana, Eze Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu complained about BP at the police cell.

Adding that he was sweating and panting after the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) invited him for questioning.

“When this happened, I wrote to the national security agencies that what he was doing was illegal so he was arrested. This after he complained about high BP, he said his BP has gone up. When he was invited he went there with the Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana and Lawyers thinking it was a small thing. He was panting, sweating, denying he is not a King and others.” Hassan Ayariga told Paul Adom-Otchere on Good Evening Ghana.

According to him, it is illegal for a foreigner to impose himself as a King in Ghana.

“First of all, calling himself as a King in Ghana is wrong, nobody who is not a citizen of Ghana can make himself a King in this country. So you (Igbo King) are coming to tell us that you are acquiring 50 acres of land to build an Igbo Kingdom so that it becomes one of a kind in the world that has never happened in this country. You are building a Kingdom who will determine the President of Nigeria, Ministers and other officials will come through that gate.” He stated.

“Any Nigerian who wants to acquire land or property in this country has to consult the Igbo King. They are becoming another tribe in Ghana and we are going to have a big problem in the future. If you check the statistics, 90% of crimes committed in this country are foreigners.”
