The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techiman North, Hon. Adom Kwabena Johnson, has pledged his commitment to ensuring the completion of the much-anticipated Bouyam–Mesidan–Agosa road project, despite challenges surrounding its documentation.
In an interview with the media, the DCE acknowledged that the current documentation related to the project contains several irregularities, which he is handling with caution.
The DCE, who hails from Mesidan, expressed his deep personal concern over the situation, noting that some directives issued by the Feeder Roads headquarters in Accra have not been favorable. However, he assured constituents that his office is actively engaging with the contractor to find the best way forward.
“The documentation regarding the Bouyam–Mesidan road contains several irregularities. I am very cautious with my words, so I would prefer not to go into the details at this time.
“I want to assure the people of Techiman North, particularly residents of Bouyam, Mesidan, and Agosa, that we will engage the contractor and work together to find the best way forward.” He said
The Bouyam–Mesidan–Agosa road, which is vital for transportation and economic activity in the district, has been a major concern for residents due to delays in its completion.
According to him the residents of Techiman North deserve results not excuses and he remains committed to delivering on that expectation.
“The people of Techiman North are not in the mood for excuses; they voted for the government to deliver results. We are committed to ensuring that they receive only good news,” he said. “Once again, I want to assure you that we are working tirelessly to ensure the completion of this road project.” He disclosed
