The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, in collaboration with Meta, has organized a two-day intensive digital skills training program.
This workshop is designed to enhance and equip officials of the Ministry, along with its 13 implementing agencies, with practical tools for promoting the growth of creative enterprises and cultural storytelling on Meta platforms.
The program runs from July 14–15 in Accra.
Virus O. Langmange, Director of Human Resources at the Ministry, delivering the welcome address, stated that this partnership is strategic in aligning Ghana’s tourism and cultural industries with global digital trends.
The workshop was led by the Director of Research, Statistics, and Information Management at the Ministry, Mabel Cudjoe.
She emphasized the importance of building internal capacity to adapt to the growing demands of a digitally evolving environment.
The curriculum includes content creation, audience targeting, community engagement, campaign performance analytics, and the use of API and WhatsApp Business solutions to improve customer interactions.
“The participants will be introduced to Meta Support Pro and the Self-Guide portal to access ongoing technical and operational assistance,” she added.
They were also urged to fully immerse themselves in the training and apply the knowledge acquired to professional output and personal development.
