We will construct “The Greater Kumasi Bypass” to restore Kumasi’s urban integrity – Mahama assures

President John Dramani Mahama assured that the government is set to construct ‘The Greater Kumasi Bypass’ in the Ashanti region.

He said the construction of ‘The Greater Kumasi Bypass’ will help decongest the city and promote safer travel and restore Kumasi’s Urban integrity.

“We are going to commence the construction of what we called ‘The Greater Kumasi Bypass’. The first quadrant of this bypass will go through Ejisu and link Mampong and Techiman road. It means that all the big articulator trucks that are heading to Burkina Faso and Mali will no longer come through Kumasi city, They will turn at Ejisu and appear on the Techiman road.” He assured

“This will help decongest the city and promote safer travel and restore Kumasi’s Urban integrity.” Mr. Mahama said during his visit to the Ashanti Region.
